HELKON Calor® Ionizers  

The Helkon Calor ionizers can be used with any type of combustible - gasoline, gas and oil fuel.

They have filleted or flanged attachments depending on the necessity and type of application.

The primary benefits of Helkon Calor ionizers are:

  • Reduction of combustible

  • Reduction of atmospheric pollution

  • Maintain the turbines at maximum efficiency

  • Maintain clean the burner nozzles, combustion chambers, motor valves, smoke collectors and chimneys.

  • Maintain the combustible in the tanks in perfect efficiency preventing the formation of slime and microorganisms.

  • Reduce and/or eliminate the consumption of fluids and additives.

MEMORANDUM…

The Helkon Calor ionizers are designed and manufactured specifically for the following combustibles:  

  • Biodiesel ( vegetable combustible oil for thermal plants )
  • Diesel oil for thermal plants
  • Combustible oil for thermal plants ( low sulfur content – high sulfur content )
  • Dense oil for thermal plants
  • Methane gas for thermal plants
  • LPG ( liquefied propane gas ) for thermal plants
  • Special models for pre-heated combustible oils at 180°C

The ionizers are dimensioned in function to the maximum quantity of combustible which flows through the equipment.  

Furthermore, for combustibles which are preheated, the preheated temperature must be known.

All of the Helkon Calor ionizers are manufactured according to UNI CIGA ( Italian standard accepted in the European Community ).

Should there be a need to manufacture the ionizers according to other standards, the specifications must be communicated to Helkon.

After the installation of the Helkon Calor ionizers on thermal plants, it is necessary to register the excess of air ( lambda factor ), and substitute the nozzle for obtaining the best atomization of the combustible (if liquid) and therefore reducing the molecular cohesion of the combustible after the atomization.  

In this way, the combustible is optimized, and consequently, the consumption is reduced; at the same time, the combustion parameters improve and a drastic reduction of atmospheric pollution is obtained.
