On 18 and 19 May we made
ecological sanitary checks aimed at valuating
the ozone concentration which may result from your IONO2
machinery.
OPERATING CONDITIONS
The best working conditions
of the ionizer IONO2, according to the manufacturer, require a
voltage between 4,7 and 5,3 KV
While operating the voltage
was checked with a proper voltmeter
TECHNIQUE OF ANALYSIS
We checked the quality of
ozone resulting from the using of the ionizer IONO2 for cars with a
INTERSCAN electrochemical compartments analyser
for ozone, linked to a METROSONIC data logger DL-714 for data
registration.
The minimum concentration
sensed by the instrument is 0.02 ppm.
IONO2 was fixed in a
plexiglass box (indoor place) bearing with two holes for the air
intake tube linked to the monitor and the ionizer electric cable.
The plexiglass box was
cubic, and each side measured
50 cm
.
The catching point for the
ozone was placed around
30 cm
. from the ionizer.
Each check lasted about 2
hours.
